Biography

Anna Edwards has been involved in researching and measuring the night time economy in the United Kingdom and Australia for more than ten years.

Anna is a Research Fellow in Urban Studies at the Melbourne Centre for Cities, working on the delivery of the Australian Research Council funded Night Shift project, researching night shift workers in Australian cities

She is a PhD Candidate at the Melbourne School of Design, researching the evolution of Australia’s night time economy, with a particular focus on night time labour market trends and government initiatives. Anna holds an MSc in Economic Development Research and Policy from the University of Birmingham, a First Class Honours BA in Business Studies from the University of Hull and a Specialist Certificate in Leadership from the Melbourne Business School.
