Biography

Dr. Eileen Sim joined the University of Melbourne as a Teaching Fellow in Property in 2021 where she teaches courses in real estate fundamentals, asset management and real estate management. Prior to this, Eileen has been teaching with the University of Melbourne since 2013 in a casual capacity across several areas including real estate finance, finance and accounting. During this time, Eileen also pursued her Bachelor in Accounting and Finance, Masters in Property and her PhD in Property at the University of Melbourne.

In addition to her passion for teaching, she earned a doctorate in Property in 2021 where she studied how organisations and their employees accept Activity Based Working offices. Eileen specialises in workplace change management, workplace innovation, designing for productivity and corporate real estate. She has also published on Transit Oriented Development and has won awards for her studies and publications.
