Associate Professor in Urban Planning


Associate Professor Jennifer Day recently completed her doctoral work in the Department of City and Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. Her most recent work examined the effects of resettlement at the urban periphery for Shanghai households, with a focus on vulnerable populations. Her work continues in Chinese cities, with research interests that include transport capacity-building, outcomes of rebuilding urban villages, and the consequences of and alternatives to urban expansion. Additionally, Jennifer's teaching and research interests include planning for resettlement zones and urbanisation in the developing world.
