Dr Soon-Tzu Speechley

Biography

Soon-Tzu is a Lecturer in Urban and Cultural Heritage  at the Australian Centre for Architectural History, Urban and Cultural Heritage (ACAHUCH). His research interests include classical architecture and its reception in colonial Malaya, architectural networks within the British Empire, and Southeast Asian heritage. His doctoral dissertation, entitled The Classical Language of Architecture in British Malaya, 1867-1941, is the first survey of Malayan classicism.
