Our ABP Advancement team is passionate about helping to build an inclusive, connected ABP alumni community and raising support for our students and researchers.
Andrew Middleton
Development Manager
Andrew manages fundraising for the Faculty and strives to link external parties in industry and institutes to our academics to enhance research and teaching opportunities. The philanthropic contributions from alumni, friends and industry go to support core initiatives and projects, including equity and access scholarships for students, research undertaken by academics, and Faculty projects.
When not taking tours of the Faculty’s award winning MSD Building dressed like a corporate from the Faculty of Business and Economics, Andrew can be found plodding along Victorian bush and coastal trails, discussing the virtues of chocolate with Simon, or celebrating the balletic glory of an Aussie football mark.
Simon Elchlepp
Alumni and Stakeholder Relations Coordinator
Simon looks after the Faculty’s relations with its alumni, making sure that there is value in being a part of the ABP alumni community. If we have your email address on record, you will have received invitations from him to alumni events, volunteer programs and many other opportunities that we hope link our alumni back to their alma mater. He is also very passionate about presenting the extraordinary work of our students and researchers to our alumni.
When not taking those tours of the Faculty’s award winning MSD Building that Andrew wasn’t available for, Simon spends his time expanding his space-consuming film and music collection (and sharing it with anybody within earshot), or enjoys exploring the Victoria countryside on his bike.
