You’ve captured your footage and are now ready to create your tour. Learn how to upload and host your tour online, and how to add some interactivity to the site.

There are various free to paid applications and software that can be used to create Panorama tours. BEL+T has investigated a few and have outlined their features and benefits below.

Image-Based Tour

Roundme is an online-based subscription application that allows you to create virtual tours. This easy to use drag-and-drop application allows you to add interactivity by means of portals and hotspots. Roundme has a range of pricing options, with paid accounts including the ability to customise privacy settings and add branding to tours.

Kuula is an online-based drag-and-drop application. Kuula has three account options – Basic, Pro & Business. The free account does not allow images to be added to hotspots. Kuula's paid option is slightly more expensive than Roundme although it offers other customisation functionality, Including, changing the layout of your hotspot pop-up boxes, quick post-editing functions for images i.e.colour and level correction.

Video-Based Tour

3D Vista VT Pro is a stand-alone virtual tour creation software that allows you to create 360º photo and video tours. This program offers a highly customisable tour creation process in comparison to the online-based applications. 3D Vista VT Pro offers hotspots, clickable objects, time-based effects, such as "Live Panorama" (a day-to-night effect). Completed tours can be accessed via any computer, Android or iOS device.

BEL+T have purchased a licence for staff use. This can be used on the Microstudio post-processing computer.

Blend Studio is a web-based drag-and-drop application that supports video. Blend Studio is more straightforward to use than other applications but does not offer many customisable features. The app has upload size limits for each project.
