ABP Teaching Excellence Awards 2023 - Call for Nominations

The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning recognises outstanding contributions in teaching excellence through the Faculty’s annual awards for excellence in teaching.

The awards recognise sustained improvement or impact on the quality of students' learning experiences, and the relevance of subject content and skills. ABP aims to provide outstanding education to enable the next generation of the highest quality built environment professionals and academics.

The call for nominations is open until 5:00pm Friday 20 October 2023.

These awards are open to applications from academic staff and sessional staff.

Four awards are available this year under the Teaching Excellence Awards Category:

  • Open Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Sessional Teaching Excellence Award (open to sessional teaching staff only)
  • Students' Choice Award
  • Teaching Innovation Excellence Award

Nominees may be individuals or teams.

Past winners are eligible to apply provided their submission is based on a different portfolio of work than that used for a previous award.

If you feel that any of your colleagues have gone above and beyond over the past year, please submit a nomination and their case in support via email to ABP Dean: abp-dean@unimelb.edu.au.
