ASCILITE Learning Analytics SIG Webinar

This interaction session, led by Lisa-Angelique Lim, will explore how to leverage learning analytics to promote student-teacher interactions in online sessions.

The Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE) is an incorporated not-for-profit professional association for those engaged in the educational use of technologies in tertiary education. Their Learning Analytics Special Interest Group (LA-SIG) is running a webinar series exploring how learning analytics can be used to help understand, support and design learning interactions.

In the words of the event organisers, the webinar will focus on “communication of feedback as a way to foster student-teacher interactions in online and blended learning... In this interactive session, we discuss how it is possible to leverage learning analytics for providing timely and personalised feedback and support to all students in both online and blended settings, to enhance learning, as well as to promote student-teacher interactions”.

The session will be held on Thursday 18th August from 3pm-4pm AEST.
