Call for Abstracts: AUBEA 2022

The Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) is a membership-based non-profit organisation, established in 1975 to promote teaching and research in building through communication and collaboration.

The AUBEA 45th annual conference will be held 23-25 November 2022 at Western Sydney University. The conference will be in a hybrid format with both in-person and online attendance.

With the theme of “Global Challenges in a Disrupted World: Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Approaches in the Built Environment”, AUBEA 2022 brings together researchers, educators, students, and industry practitioners from Australia and other regions, to share knowledge, collaborate, reflect, and learn current issues and participate in shaping the future of the construction and built environment sectors.

One of the themes welcomed by the conference committee is "Education in Built Environment", which includes teaching, learning and assessment, Work Integrated Learning (WIL), policy, management, and governance, inclusion and diversity, disruptions, and academic work and professional development. They also note that "High-quality papers submitted to the conference will be selected and the authors will be invited to further develop these for publication in a special issue of one of the following journals: International Journal of Construction Management (IJCM) or Construction Economics and Building (CEB).

Maximum 250-word abstracts are due on 29 May 2022.
