Call for Papers now open for ASCILITE 2023

The ASCILITE 2023 Conference is a highly anticipated event in the world of Educational Technology, which is scheduled to take place from December 4-6, 2023. Hosted by the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, the conference promises to cover the full gamut of Educational Technology in tertiary education. The event is designed to be fully hybrid, allowing participants to join either in person or online.

The conference is inviting submissions for papers and presentations on three sub-themes. The first sub-theme, "Diverse People," emphasizes the importance of acknowledging the diversity of people involved in learning and teaching and their culture, practice, and knowledge. Submissions are encouraged that foreground the perspectives of everyone involved in the learning and teaching process in tertiary education.

The second sub-theme, "Deeper Partnerships," focuses on reaffirming relationships, alliances, collaborations, and connections among people in different roles, across disciplines and departments within an institution, between internal and external stakeholders, across institutions, between pedagogy and research, or within the community. The conference encourages submissions that explore partnerships that enhance digital pedagogy, success for all learners, or taking care of our collective wellbeing.

The third sub-theme, "Digital Pedagogy," aims to explore the complexity of learning and teaching in a digital world. Submissions are invited that examine online, blended, hybrid, hyflex, and other post-pandemic pedagogies, emergent pedagogies related to AR, AI, VR, MR, and other evolving tools and technologies, critical insights into the role of digital technologies in tertiary education, the relationship between people and technology, and post-digital perspectives.

The call for papers closes on July 2nd, 2023. For further details and submission guidelines, visit the conference website.
