Designing for Online Learning Workshops

Learning Environments is hosting two upcoming online workshops as part of their Designing for Online Learning series. Space is limited, so book now to avoid disappointment!

The firstw on 17 August from 1-2:30pm, is called "Choosing the Right Activity". This workshop will discuss key strategies for identifying, choosing and constructing different types of activities for different purposes and learning outcomes, improving existing activities to support deeper learning and online delivery challenges, and demonstrate tools that can support these types of activities. The organisers are asking participants to bring some ideas or an existing activity related to a subject they would like further assistance with; however set examples will also be provided. The second workshop, "Crafting Great Quizzes", will take place on 23 August from 1-2:30pm. This interactive workshop will unravel the key strategies for designing and delivering high-quality quiz questions, whilst exploring where quizzes may fit within an overarching assessment strategy.
