Upcoming Learning Environments Video Workshops

Learning Environments has several upcoming workshops as part of a series of events based around Design for Learning with Technology and Technology Enhanced Learning. These workshops concentrate on the design of learning for subjects or activities within subjects, and may also demonstrate the use of specific technologies to achieve design objectives. Upcoming events include:

DIY Adobe Rush Video Editing Essentials (Friday 31 March, 1:00pm – 2:00pm)

This short session targeted towards beginners will introduce the basic fundamentals of editing video content, explore the post-production workflow and discuss how best to apply those rules using various editing software.

DIY Video: Campus as a Classroom (Tuesday 4 April, 1:00pm – 2:00pm)

This workshop will demonstrate how to take advantage of the beautiful UoM campus and use it as a backdrop to create visually appealing educational video content. Learning goals include how to:

  • Identify essential content.
  • How to walk the talk.
  • How to reimagine UoM Campus and exterior locations.
