Activities for encouraging interaction (online)

This is the third of four workshops in the Practical Workshop Series for Small-Group Teaching designed for tutors and sessional teachers.

During this workshop, participants will be able to engage in some suggested strategies for encouraging interaction among students in small-group teaching contexts. This is an opportunity to see how some of the activities would work in practice and to go into more detail about how, why, and when they might be utilised. It will also provide the opportunity to discuss the advantages and challenges of certain activities in more detail.

This is an interactive workshop and participants should expect to move, engage, and participate actively. Please see the series page for more information.

If you are new to university teaching, prior completion of the Foundations of Teaching & Learning series is strongly recommended.

If you are attending more than one workshop, you will need to register for each separately. For more information, please refer to the program page or contact Cathleen Benevento.
