AMPS Conference Call for Abstracts: A Focus on Pedagogy

AMPS (Architecture, Media, Politics and Society) is calling for abstracts for their virtual conference entitled ‘A Focus on Pedagogy: Teaching, Learning and Research in the Modern Academy’.

The conference seeks to explore the current state of teaching and research across a set of cognate fields, including architecture, spatial design, and graphic design. The themes in each conference session will be drawn from submissions, with several themes announced already.

These themes include:

Sites, settings, location and context in teaching and practice
Case studies of studio projects in art and design
Physical spaces, material practice and hands-on making
Technologies in teaching and learning

The virtual conference will take place from 20-22 April 2022. The deadline for the first round of abstract submissions is 05 December 2021.
