2021 ACSA/EAAE Teachers Conference

The call for abstracts and images is open to faculty at all ACSA member schools. The AASA has recently joined the ASCA as an International Affiliate Member, opening the call up to UoM staff.

Call for Abstracts


The 2021 ACSA/EAAE Teachers Conference, Curriculum for Climate Agency, is accepting abstracts for a range of formats for presentation and communication, from full‐paper and project-based presentations, to workshop‐based interactions, to graphic, visual, and/or textual analyses of projects that respond to the 10 scholarship themes:

  • Monstrous Infrastructure - The Alternative Scales f Production
  • Environmental Morphology - Pedagogical Drivers in the Form of Performance
  • The Cross Disciplinary Climate Classroom
  • Inhabiting the Hydrosphere - Water as Building Material
  • Abstract by Nature - Geometry, Colour, Proportion and Structure in the Ecological Project
  • Unlearning Architecture - Environmental History + Theory
  • 21st Century Charter for Healthy + Just Cities
  • The Architecture of Migration and a Sense of Belonging
  • Closing the Loop: Circular Sustainability
  • Design Agency: Climate Action over Climate Despair

Authors will submit abstracts or poster proposals through ACSA’s online interface. The submission deadline to submit abstracts is October 14, 2020. Abstract notification will occur in January 2021. Call for Images

Accepted authors agree to exhibit their work in the Imag(in)ing a Future Imperfect Exhibition.

Authors will submit image proposals through ACSA’s online interface. The submission deadline to submit abstracts is October 14, 2020. Abstract notification will occur in January 2021. Find more details on image submission at the following site: (click here).
