Ice-breakers and first-day activities (online)

This is the first of four workshops in the Practical Workshop Series for Small-Group Teaching designed for tutors and sessional teachers.

During this workshop, participants will be able to engage directly with a range of ice-breaker activities and other first-day activities recommended specifically for small-group settings. There will also be the opportunity to discuss associated advantages and challenges in more detail.

This is an interactive workshop and participants should expect to move, engage, and participate actively. Please see the series page for more information.

If you are new to university teaching, prior completion of the Foundations of Teaching & Learning series is strongly recommended.
