The University has committed to providing an additional round of incentive funding for the design, development and delivery of Melbourne MicroCerts, the University of Melbourne’s microcredentialing initiative established by Chancellery (Academic) and operationalised within the Melbourne School of Professional and Continuing Education (MSPACE).

Priority Groups

The funding round has been divided into two Priority Groups: A and B.

  • Priority Group A calls for Incentive Funding Submissions for Melbourne MicroCerts in pre-defined topic areas, within five of the six MSPACE priority areas of high market demand. We are seeking proposals designed to align directly with the pre-defined topic areas.
  • Alternatively, Priority Group B provides the opportunity to propose Melbourne MicroCerts in topic areas not defined in Priority Group A and which have an evidenced sizable market and align with one of the six priority areas of high market demand.

Please contact your MSPACE Academic Program Director (APD) to discuss your intent to submit a proposal, and for advice on approvals via your Academic Division-MSPACE Hub.
