This is the second of four workshops in the Practical Workshop Series for Small-Group Teaching designed for tutors and sessional teachers.

During this workshop, Melbourne CSHE will discuss different types of questioning strategies that can be used to encourage effective teaching and learning in small-group settings. Participants will be able attempt and critique some of the strategies. There will also be time for more in-depth discussion on when and why one strategy might be preferable over another, and when it might not be.

This is an interactive workshop and participants should expect to move, engage, and participate actively. Please see the series page for more information.

If you are new to university teaching, prior completion of the Foundations of Teaching & Learning series is strongly recommended.

If you are attending more than one workshop, you will need to register for each separately. For more information, please refer to the program page or contact Cathleen Benevento.
