Online learning trend helps students on fringes go to university but reveals stark digital divide

A Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) report into online learning (which analysed student satisfaction surveys from 118 institutions) found that while many students liked having more flexibility in their access to study material and academic advice, they were frustrated by technological problems, like slow internet speeds and audio quality.
