Professional Development: Graduate Certificate in University Teaching (GCUT)

GCUT is a part-time course designed to enhance the teaching skills of staff in Australian higher education institutions.

Melbourne CSHE is now accepting expressions of interest for the Graduate Certificate in University Teaching 2021 intake. This course is suitable for staff currently teaching in Australian higher education institutions, or staff in vocational and training institutions who plan to teach in higher education. It is offered part-time to complement participants’ current teaching practice. The course is delivered primarily online through synchronous teaching with some face-to-face classes held on the University of Melbourne campus in Parkville.

The Graduate Certificate in University Teaching combines research-based, theoretical seminars with practical exercises involving peer review and negotiated projects.
