Information regarding studio options and balloting for students enrolled in Master of Architecture Design Thesis.
Master of Architecture Design Thesis students are offered a selection of studio options each semester.
Studio leaders will present their studio topics at the Presentation Day held on the Friday before semester. Studio offerings will also be posted below prior to the beginning of semester, and the Studio Brochure will be published and made available to students a few days prior to the Presentation Day. The Brochure will include descriptions and a timetable.
Studio allocation for Design Thesis is done by ballot. If you are enrolled in ABPL90169 Master of Architecture Design Thesis, please read the information below.

Semester 2, 2020
In addition to the information below, this semester's introductory studio presentations will be published to the Design Thesis Canvas page prior to balloting.
So that you have access to the Design Thesis Canvas page, please make sure that you have enrolled in ABPL90169 Design Thesis prior to balloting.
You will be required to submit your studio preferences via the ballot survey available here:
The ballot survey must be completed by 15:00 on Friday 31 July.
Please note, you are NOT guaranteed your first preferences in the ballot, so we urge you to select studios that will best suit your interests and aspirations, and to ensure that all your selected studios are offered at times you can attend.
Final studio allocations will be posted to the Design Thesis Canvas page by the end of the day on Sunday 2 August. Studio teaching will commence from Monday 3 August. Students should check their studio allocations and attend their allocated studios accordingly.
Please note, all studios will be taught solely online in Semester 2, 2020.
