Pathways into the Master of Architectural Engineering

Interested in combining studies of Engineering and Architecture in to the one degree? The Master of Architectural Engineering may be for you.

The Master of Architectural Engineering is a new program, offered by the Melbourne School of Design and the Melbourne School of Engineering.

Students undertaking an Architecture or Civil Systems major can complete a pathway into the Master of Architectural Engineering via undergraduate study in their Bachelor of Design.

Students undertaking the Master of Architectural Engineering will learn from world class experts in the fields of Architecture and Engineering, and will graduate with an internationally recognised qualification in architectural, engineering and structural design of buildings.

Students completing an Architecture major

If you are completing an Architecture major, you will need to complete the following subjects in order to be eligible for the Master of Architectural Engineering:

  • MAST10005 Calculus 1
  • MAST10006 Calculus 2
  • MAST10007 Linear Algebra
  • 25 points Science subjects (physics, biology, chemistry)
