The Research Seminar Series of 2023 Australia-Asia Dialogue for Urban Innovation addresses global challenges and innovative approaches such as smart cities, urban renewal, climate change and sustainable urban development, and equitable regional development. These issues require collective actions for future generations and the Seminar Series will contribute to establishing research networks, developing collaborative research projects, and sharing knowledge with leading academic institutions in Australia and Asia.
To facilitate the exchange of knowledge between Australia and Asia, each seminar will be composed of three speakers – a combination of ABP, other UoM Faculties, Australian institutions, and international institutions. Each seminar will have three 20-minute presentations followed by Q&As and a tea session to facilitate networking. The details of the seminars are as follows:
- Urban Renewal: 20 April 2023, 2.00pm, Japanese Room
- Smart Cities: 8 May 2023, 2.00pm, Japanese Room
- Equitable Regional Development: TBC
- Sustainable Urban Development: TBC
