Design Studio Year 2: Learning from the Masters exhibition

Titled as ‘Learning from the Masters’, ADS2 (Water) is a design subject that focuses on formal design skills in relation to a history of modern design ideas and a real site in Melbourne. The pedagogical premises are that the past forms a base for future design, that formal thinking is at the core of design, and that learning from a master is an efficient way of developing one’s design approach. This exhibition showcases the students’ study of a master by tracing, drawing and model-making.
