Design Making - Making Design is an interactive Augmented Reality (AR) and poster exhibition across more than 40 sites in inner Melbourne and neighbouring suburbs.
The exhibition features new design prototypes developed by students in the Digital Design and Fabrication Electives (DDF) at the Melbourne School of Design (MSD).
Through the development of novel material, the use of contemporary digital tools and the application of experimental fabrication processes students designed and created physical and digital prototypes.
The exhibition shows a vast variety of student work, including experimental furniture (F_Lab and Ex_Lab), 3D printed hon-human habitat (R_Lab), and visualisation of landscape narratives (Si_Lab).
Exploring the poster exhibition across 40 locations in the laneways of Melbourne visitors can interact with environments and objects using Augmented Reality (AR).
