Strange Objects
The interest here is in an Architecture conceived [invented] from the smallest bit or atom of information, a seed, rather than a formal design methodology. Invention as the originator or the seed of the architectural object, occurs in the middle, not at the start of the design process and not as final outcome. It is rather the prototyping phase that serves as a discovery process, instigating the ‘growing of the design rather then the composition or masterplan. Search for a universal beauty is not the goal, rather, achieving character, identity, and the optimized, is the preferred outcome.
