Preconceptions, snap judgments, observations, and piecemeal information blend to create an understanding of setting that can be equal parts fiction and fact. In this exhibit, KoningEizenberg staff and friends address designed culture and everyday life in their iconic city: Los Angeles. A sampling of music, movies, readings, personal stories, interviews, and architecture offers a layered insight into LA neighbourhoods, identity, and place.

The exhibit expands upon KoningEizenberg Architecture’s recent book, Urban Hallucinations, which takes on the idyll of local and neighbourhood through the design of projects in and around Los Angeles.
