A Research Advisory Group chaired by Prof Billie Giles-Corti has been established and comprises membership from industry, government, the Faculty of Engineering along with the chair and research theme leaders of the Hub. The Research Advisory Committee meets annually to discuss outcomes from the research and to review synopses of proposed research from the Hub investigators. Importantly, the Committee ensures all research proposals align with the outlined goals of the Hub.
Hub meeting and organisation
The Research Hub involves a significant collaboration and commitment of effort from research leaders, mid-career and early-career academics from the Faculty. The figure below outlines the management structure which oversees the Hub.
The Management Committee meets on a quarterly basis and the has the overall responsibility for:
1) Managing the progress of identified projects under the research objectives;
2) Preparation of annual reports; and
3) Report against project milestones.
