Biography

Architect (Hons) PUC (2012), MSc The Bartlett UCL (2015) and Academic with 12 years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Australia, Chile, Belgium, Germany and Brazil. Before starting my PhD I was the Director of the Cultural Heritage Graduate Diploma, an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the MArch PUC and the Academic Coordinator of the School of Architecture. As an independent architect and heritage consultant, my work has been awarded, published and presented in different exhibitions, such as the Venice Biennale of 2012 and the Chilean Architecture Biennial of 2012 and 2015. My thesis "From Making the Invisible Visible to Making the Visible Invisible" explores the role of mystery and uncertainty in architecture and is focused on experimental processes of architectural design and pedagogy.
