Comm-Ute

The easily reconfigured, human powered community and tradie’s vehicle.

The Comm-Ute is a viable alternative for a future without cars. The human powered vehicle (HPV) is designed as both a community ‘car’ and tradesperson’s ‘ute’ for the transportation of both people and cargo. Capable of carrying up to four people, the Comm-Ute’s flexibility allows each person to contribute as little or as much pedal power as they are physically capable, with individual internal hubs and gear levers for each rider. It is easily reconfigurable, with passenger seating and crank sets folding aside to maximise storage capacity for tools or other cargo.
