EBD Town Hall and School
A Centre for Re-use, Research and Education
The Town Hall is an old train shed that has been reprogrammed while conserving the existing structure. It is a destination where the community and technology work towards becoming a carbon-neutral society.
The School is in an existing shed, refitted to cater to the programme. As well as providing general education, the students would benefit from the EBD environment and develop lifestyles that would be carbon neutral or negative. Education in a zero-carbon emission society will help develop “carbon aware” mindsets, demonstrated in future lifestyle choices.
