Florence Community Food Park
A community recreational park and food producing constructed wetland is developed in the city centre.
The site acts as a productive garden for fresh produce in Summer, an aquaponics farm in winter when the river rises, and all year round as a horticultural education centre, community food swap, market restaurant, market and picnic and fishing area. This site brings resilient amenity to the surrounding local community who are currently disconnected from the river.
