iGuide

Connect with locals, activities, history & services through one portable system.

Hernan Fioravanti has travelled extensively through Europe from Spain, his home country.  His experiences inform the iGuide – a multifunction device that helps the user to make informed, and by extension, responsible decisions. The device links the traveller to necessary services and like-minded folk through social networking, way-finding and user feedback through ITC systems. Though many of these functions can be achieved today, the collation of information and packaging create an accessible, adaptable and portable unit that enriches personable and flexible styles of encountering new localities. The device allows for commercial and critical information to be freely transported and user settings to link with community and net-based information transporting the user’s perception through indigenous and natural history lenses to give greater appreciation of the localities.
