Urban Interlace: Sunshine Centre for Recycling
As a new local industry hub, the Sunshine Centre for Recycling will become a local and regional ‘sustainable supply network’.
Inspired by the importance of the Sunshine Harvester Works to the economic and social fabric of the area, this project aims to reinvigorate the identity of Sunshine by creating a new local industry hub. The Sunshine Centre for Recycling will act as a ‘sustainable supply network’ to recover local and regional material waste. The centre infrastructure includes spaces for TAFE, sports, small businesses and local community groups.
