The Sunshine Urban Food Corridor complements and encourages the diverse range of food cultures already present in Sunshine. Secure, low-tech community gardens beds and rooftop gardens are the focus of the site that also includes residential apartments, small retail, offices and plays host to a school of horticulture. Waste water is treated by the wetlands on site and building materials were carefully selected for thermal insulation. Sustainable transport options are prioritised with bicycle and electric vehicle parking provided, as well as being situated close to the railway station and numerous bus routes.
