Albion Arts and Cultural Station
Transforming Albion Station into a hub for cultural activities.
The Albion Arts and Cultural Centre collocates a gallery and theatre with the train station to improve its amenity and provide an attraction for the Albion area. The station platforms play host to a green roof and fruit trees line the edges of the public plazas that extend south along the rail corridor from the building. Solar panels power the site and the choice of building materials is sensitive to the surrounding context and historical significance of the area. Sustainable water technologies are also showcased on site.
