Hybrid Parking Hub

A staged transition to a future of sustainable mobility technologies.

The Hybrid Parking Hub outlines a staged transition towards a future of sustainable mobility technologies. Located next to Albion train station, the Hub is well-positioned as a transit node, encouraging more sustainable modes of travel and providing incentives to use bicycles or electric vehicles instead of combustion engine cars. The northern façade is used to grow food hydroponically, and the structure captures stormwater which is filtered and cleaned to be used on site or returned to nearby Stony Creek. Over time, parking space is converted to commercial and residential use as transport needs change.
