Sunshine Plaza Youth Rooftop Housing Complex
A self-sustaining student housing community built on top of Sunshine Plaza.
This project explores the idea of a student housing community to be built on top of the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre. The modular, prefabricated design allows for ease of assembly, and is perfect for adding to as demand for housing grows. The complex is self-sustaining, using biomass boilers and photovoltaic panels for energy production, heating, and hot water. The Youth Rooftop Housing Complex is also equipped with a large central green house and rooftop gardens, and open space encourages a community feel amongst the young residents.
