Jeremy Reynolds – Melbourne Population Trends

Urbanism, public infrastructure and Melbourne’s future growth.

Jeremy Reynolds is the Managing Director of Demographic Research with the Department of Planning and Community Development, Victoria. His presentation delivers important insights into past, present and future population growth and demographic change within Melbourne and the greater Victorian surrounds. Jeremy explains the increasing mobility of these populations and outlines the changes the state is facing (social, economic, housing, water, health) and discusses the implications on urbanism, public infrastructure and Melbourne’s future growth.

We apologise for the quality of the sound recording as there were technical difficulties with the recording equipment. Jeremy is introduced by Chris Ryan; this is particularly hard to hear, but does not last long.
