Biography
A/Prof Martin Mackey is a physiotherapist by training and has developed an international profile in the fields of ergonomics, prevention and management of work-related injury and promotion of health enhancing working life. He co-leads the Healthier Workplaces Research Node at U Sydney's Charles Perkins Centre and the Health Sydney University project, promoting health enhancing physical activity, nutrition and mental wellbeing of University staff and students. His applied research expertise includes evaluation of musculoskeletal health effects of sedentary and manual work, and promotion of physical activity and work ability in working life.
