Biography
Dr Georgia Warren-Myers is an Associate Professor in Property in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at The University of Melbourne. Georgia undertakes academic research into various areas relating to commercial real estate and housing - with specific interests in climate change, risk assessment, sustainability, green buildings and housing affordability. Her research is nested in the contexts of valuation, asset management, investment, planning, urban development and sustainable construction.
Dr. Warren-Myers research core focus investigates the relationships between value, valuation and sustainability in the built environment. This has extended in recent years to include resilience considerations and climate-related risks to property, in particular exploring their identification, reporting in the markets and implications for property markets.
