Digital World Building – Digital Social Spaces
As much of our social lives migrate onto digital platforms, architects are engaging in the definition of these emerging centers of public interaction.
As the traditional shapers of our public realm, the building of these new digital worlds benefit from the knowledge and capacities brought to it by the architectural discipline. These new forums for social exchange and collaboration present designers with a novel medium where established architectural practice may extend its capacities while simultaneously presenting unfamiliar challenges.
Drawing from the creative experiences of the speakers, the panel will engage in a discussion about building this new world of digital social spaces.
