Colin Simpson

Colin Simpson is an education technologist in the Monash Education Innovation team at Monash University. He has worked as a Learning Technologist, Education Designer and Academic Developer since 2003 at the Canberra Institute of Technology, ANU, Swinburne University and has been at Monash since 2019.

He is an enthusiastic advocate of Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching (TELT) and works to support opportunities for teachers to create better learning experiences for their students with technology.

Colin is a founder and co-convenor of ASCILITE TELedvisors (educator advisors) network, an Australasian community of practice for learning designers, learning technologists and academic developers with over 500 members.

Colin is currently undertaking PhD research at the University of Sydney investigating strategies to enhance the collaborative working relationships between edvisors, academics and management in Higher Education.
