Biography
Emma Power is an urban geographer and housing researcher in the School of Social Sciences and Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University. Her Cities of Care research program envisions a world of more just and caring cities, developing new insights into the caring potential of cities and our housing system. This work is motivated by an interest in what makes cities livable and by concerns about the implications of growing urban and housing inequality. Emma is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Housing Policy and co-founder of the Housing Journal Podcast.
