Sophie Dyring

Biography

Sophie Dyring is Director of Schored Projects, an accomplished cross-disciplinary design studio. She has project experience with both public and private clients including state government departments, Victorian municipalities and housing associations. Sophie is a passionate affordable housing advocate. As an architect and landscape architect, her practice largely designs and delivers social and affordable housing for those most in need. Beyond practice, Sophie has presented at conferences and written articles on the topic.

Sophie complements practice with being a Design Review Panel member with the Office for Design and Architecture South Australia, a Moreland Affordable Housing Committee member, a sessional design lecturer on housing at RMIT University, an author and a professional mentor. Her work has been published in Thames & Hudson books along with magazines and newspapers.
