The Glyn Davis Building is a pedagogical building. It is purposefully designed to ‘teach’ students about the construction and environmental performance of a complex modern building.
The building incorporates a number of heritage features that provide a unique insight into the city’s built and cultural heritage such as the elaborate 1850s façade of the Bank of New South Wales, formerly located in Collins Street, Melbourne.

East Courtyard
Learn about the zinc louvres and cantilevered wing.

Southern Side
Being the only façade which does not need sun shading, the southern side of the building has windows that vary in shape, placement and arrangement.

Western Side
The western sides features the iconic Joseph Reed heritage façade.

North Courtyard
This area was previously a car park and has been changed significantly as part of the new building’s construction.
