Architecture, Structures and Construction Special Issue Call for Papers
The Architecture, Structures and Construction Journal (Springer) has a call for papers for a Special Issue titled "Architectural Design and Construction for Smart and Sustainable Buildings and Cities". This issue focuses on the reactive responses from academia and industry, and the approaches and methods ideated as a result of the global pandemic. Particular interest is placed on frameworks and practices that have emerged as a result of adapting to "new ways" of working, producing tactics and collaborating with different built environment groups. In the context of education, interested parties may consider the impact of the pandemic on knowledge sharing within the learning environment. This may include, but is not limited to:
- The platform in which knowledge sharing occurs (i.e. online, BSL, on-campus),
- The knowledge-sharing participants (i.e. students, tutors, subject coordinators), or
- The tools involved to facilitate knowledge sharing (e.g. learning technologies, virtual site visits)
The deadline for submission is Wednesday 30th November 2022
Should you have an interest in the above call and wish to collaborate, please reach out to BEL+T at abp-belt@unimelb.edu.au.
