From the invitation:

Are you looking for ideas on how to make your lectures more compelling, interactive, and impactful?

The Engaging Lectures Initiative is a new program designed to support and inspire lecturing innovation across the UoM community. The program starts with a 90-minute showcase event where we will look at some of the common concerns with lectures and the question of “What is engagement?” You will hear from experienced lecturers who will share their practical strategies and insights. Following this, you will have the option of taking part in monthly peer support sessions facilitated by a CSHE mentor. This will be an opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on experiments in the classroom, and learn collaboratively with colleagues. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your approach, the Engaging Lectures Initiative offers a supportive space to build and extend your own practices and answer the burning questions you might have.
