ABP Microstudio

Situated within the Glyn Davis Building, the Microstudio is a facility hosted in the BEL+T space (Built Environment Learning + Teaching). It is specifically designed to assist faculty members in the creation of high-quality multimedia content for their teaching needs. With its studio grade equipment and resources, the Microstudio enables educators to produce a wide range of digital materials, such as video lectures, podcasts, and other engaging multimedia content.

Types of recordings possible

The standard Microstudio studio set up consists of three main stations, however, the space and equipment are flexible, and more specialised setups can be arranged on an ad-hoc basis. The primary recording modes are listed below:

    • Dual camera setup possible, but limited.

Additional video recording resources can be found here.

    • Recordings of up to four people

Additional audio recording resources can be found here.

    • Voice recording over slides/instruction video
    • Option of a streaming camera (similar to a webcam on a Zoom recording)
