New Guide: Miro for online collaboration

BEL+T have created a guide for ABP tutors and subject coordinators to help them utilise Miro as an online space for collaborating with students.

What is Miro?

Miro is a free whiteboard platform that is ideal for administering collaborative work in online classroom settings.

BEL+T has created a guide tailored to ABP staff for creating effective online collaboration with – and between – students. The guide provides you with steps to assist in setting up a Miro board to best suit varied styles of online teaching as well as basic interface navigation basics.

BEL+T have outlined:

  • Privacy settings
  • Setting up accounts & licencing
  • How to set up a Miro board for collaboration
  • The Miro interface explained

as well as provided some templates and guidance for academics and educators to access as a starting point.

You can access the Miro guide via our BEL+T Teaching Toolbox.

For further advice on interaction within the virtual classroom, view our Interaction + Collaboration for learning page, or contact BEL+T directly.
